Art Project: Back-to-Front Framing

My sister’s neighbour was spring cleaning and gave these two little floral paintings to her. I wasn’t a fan of the style, personally, so I flipped the frames over, took off the backing paper and underneath was a clean simple flat surface of wood with little numerals pencilled in by the framer. I inserted a few vintage teaspoons (heads hammered flat) in one and some of my sister’s rooster’s feathers in the other. I divided a Perspex magnet frame that I had in two and used each half to cover the objects. They have to lie flat, but now I have some new art to enjoy.
